The power of generosity-based capitalism

Blogging is very much like working out. If you don't keep up the pace it's really hard to get back into it.

This time, on top of loosing my groove with my posts, I also got sucked in into this amazing new project that has monopolized my time and emotional energy.

It's called Winnol.com, it's a new internet company that will revolutionize e-commerce, advertising and entertainment. Not those fields per se, but how they tie together.

I was invited on board as a media production contractor and refused to leave until they made me in charge of international relations. The reason was the game changing vibe that the idea and the people exude.

Param, the CEO of the company, is the mastermind of this beauty of an idea. He is from India, has a genius mathematical mind and a remarkable understanding of business. Also he's just a great guy.

What I most like about this concept, and the reason why this is going to change so much is this: It is a model based on the idea of balance, generosity of unprecedented proportions.

Here's the big idea: Greed- based capitalism got us into the current recession. Generosity- based capitalism is going to get us out of it.

Thus, Winnol is the quintessential business model of The Third Drive.

For now, I am spreading the good news, talking to investors, content providers, artists and advertisers. Anyone who would listen, really.  I am persuading them to believe in us, and enjoying the amazement that the idea generates.

It's like being on the ground floor of Google or Apple.

The idea that has brought some big names on board even before the launch. Rihanna, Burger King and Lionsgate to mention just a few. It feels like the beginning of a great adventure.

I will do my best to get back into the groove of blogging again, and if you would like to get involved in Winnol, I would be happy to talk to you.
