The film Blue Like Jazz opened in select theaters this weekend. Here's what I thought of it.

 If you have read the book, inevitably you will wish for more in the film, but that is just impossible given the medium. If you haven't read the book, make sure you read it even if you saw the movie. The storyline is different.

Here's a great interview with Director Jay Torres ( Desperate Housewives, Alias, Return Of The Mummy Ride etc). Jay is a personal friend and a believer.
